StrataCloud Adds Enterprise Depth to Leadership Team

Steve Cundill (Channels) and Heather Foster (Marketing) Join Recently Appointed Chief Exec Brian Cohen in Bid to Overhaul the Way Large Companies Manage IT Infrastructure

Atlanta, Georgia – September 11, 2014 –  StrataCloud continued its aggressive transformation today with the appointments of Steve Cundill to vice president of channel sales and alliances and Heather Foster to vice president of marketing. Cundill and Foster, along with recently appointed CEO Brian Cohen, are tasked with growing the company’s share of the multi-billion dollar unified infrastructure management market.

Cundill joins StrataCloud from Softchoice, a billion-dollar-plus hardware and software reseller and integrator, where he was most recently vice president of sales for the US East Region. Cundill’s teams helped clients design and implement solutions from vendors including Cisco, NetApp, HP, IBM and VMware. StrataCloud, which to-date has sold primarily direct to customers, is aggressively developing channel partnerships to increase scale and geographical footprint.

Foster was previously vice president of marketing at ControlScan, a leader in payment security and compliance, where she helped define and execute marketing strategies, initiatives and operational plans to help drive corporate revenue and profitability objectives. Foster spearheaded company and product branding and messaging, demand generation, public relations and thought leadership, and significantly increased company exposure.

StrataCloud has been a player in the virtual infrastructure management market since 2008. Its main product, Virtualization Management Center, is used by E*TRADE, Citigroup, Booz Allen Hamilton and others to tackle performance management, capacity planning, availability management, root cause analysis and configuration compliance. StrataCloud is expanding its focus to include the broader unified infrastructure management market. Developing relationships with resellers, integrators and complementary technology partners, and articulating the company’s unique value proposition, are keys to StrataCloud’s business plan.

“Steve and Heather are perfect additions to our management team,” says Cohen. “They bring leadership and experience in enterprise sales and marketing, key assets we require to achieve our goals. I’m excited to welcome them and look forward to their leadership in designing and implementing our plans to make unified infrastructure management easier and smarter for our customers and partners.”
